Both the automatic spinning machine and the stamping stretch forming can make the sheet forming. The specific differences and advantages are as follows:
Principle difference: the automatic spinning machine controls the flow and deformation of the sheet by the path of the cutter wheel, while the stretch stamping process controls the flow of the sheet by the matching of the upper and lower convex and concave dies.
Mold difference: for the same hardware forming product, the automatic spinning machine only needs to make one core mold, while the stretch stamping needs to make two convex and concave molds. The manufacturing cost of the mold is usually 3-6 times of that of the spinning. At the same time, the manufacturing cycle of the spinning mold is shorter than that of the stretch stamping mold, and the size is easier to modify.
The development of automatic spinning machine is originated from manual spinning, which was used in lighting industry, metal tableware and other thin metal forming in the early stage. Manual spinning is applicable to the spinning of aluminum plate with thickness less than 1.5mm, iron plate with thickness less than 1.0mm and stainless steel plate with thickness less than 0.8mm. When the thickness exceeds this range, because the artificial force can not overcome the tension required by metal forming, it is impossible to spin the thick plate. On the basis of manual spinning, the automatic spinning machine increases the control of numerical control system, which makes the production more stable and the dimensional accuracy better than manual spinning.
